Applied science is a discipline of science that applies existing scientific knowledge to develop more practical applications, like technology or inventions. Department of Applied Science was established with the objective of imparting quality education in Basic subjects of Science. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always made a way to produce quality professionals, holding important positions in engineering industries in India and abroad. We are renowned for paving a smooth way for overall development and imparting quality education to the students. The department of Applied Sciences in SIRTS was established in 2007 and offers basic courses of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities with the total intake of 510 students. Department of Applied Science provide a fundamental background to the students that will serve as a launching pad for attractive career opportunities in academics and industries. The department offers. We aim to develop science education to serve two human purpose – to Know and to do.
