MP BTech Admission 2018 for students in SIRT/SIRTS/SIRTe occurs through the following options:

1. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) | DTE

We have provision of admission in B Tech programs through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). However, for this process a student has to appear in Department of Technical Education (DTE) counseling through MP Online wherein he has to apply & mention score earned in JEE. The allotment of institute is done by DTE on the basis of choice filled by the student. There are normally 2/3 rounds every year out of which 1^st and 2^nd round (norms may change every year) are applicable for the students with JEE score.

2. Non JEE- Qualifying Round

DTE has provision for admission in BE | BTech program in MP for the 12^th pass students who have not appeared in JEE. This is normally done in 3rd round of DTE counseling. This option of admission in engineering is subject to the latest rules and regulations of DTE.

3. College Level Counseling | CLC

The SIRTS is also giving direct admission in engineering in Bhopal MP to the students at the College Level Counseling for 10+2 passed eligible students. This process is done on the basis of latest norms of DTE. SIRTS Bhopal has a reputation of being among top CLC colleges in Bhopal MP.

4. Institute Preference Seat (IPS)

SIRTS Bhopal also has provision for management quota for direct admission in engineering in MP. This process is called Institute Preference Seat (IPS). This process is adopted as per scheduled norms of DTE. This is also a popular option of taking admission in engineering colleges in MP.

5. Tuition Fee Waiver (TWF)

We have provision for admission in engineering college in Bhopal through Tuition Fee Waiver (TWF) scheme. It is on the basis of JEE Mains merit of candidate and the annual income of their parents which has to be less than Rs 4.5 lakhs from all sources of income. The seats in this category are 5% of total intake in respective branch.

6. Lateral Entry

SIRTS Bhopal has provision for admission in BTech through lateral entry. The admission criteria for lateral entry in BE is:

Candidate must have completed his/her diploma in engineering with at least 45% in appropriate branch of engineering.
Candidate must have completed his/her BSc from any recognized university with at least 45% marks.

Post Graduate Program

Post Graduate engineering program is a bridge between an undergraduate degree and doctoral studies. The focus in this program is usually based on the academic side of engineering with a particular selection of subject which tends to be specific for the subject knowledge with the inclusion of projects or theoretical dissertation as well.

1. Master of Technology (M Tech)

The objective of MTech program is to expose students to high level theoretical and practical knowledge which enable them to handle practical complex problem of design and development in the industrial field as well as pursue further academic achievement through research. SIRT offers two years full time MTech program in different branches with the eligibility criteria minimum 60% marks in BE/BTech.

2. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA (Master of Business Administration is a two years professional course which is ever demanding in India and across the globe. It is a semester based course (mostly 4 semesters) deals with the theoretical aspects of business. To achieve a higher aspect, SIRT has close collaboration and networking with industry and business houses to impart practical training to the students and develop in them special competencies.
